What better place to have a resurrection than in the graveyard called Skid Row?
Christ’s resurrection is celebrated by millions of believers around the world, as they gather for Easter services in small churches, on beautiful hillsides, or in great cathedrals.
Fred Jordan Mission celebrates Easter outside on the streets of Skid Row, in God’s open-air cathedral, with hundreds of hungry, homeless men, women and children, seeking a friendly face, a warm embrace, a hot meal, and above all, a bit of hope.
That hope is found in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ!
The Mission’s Easter service is filled with hope, as we share the incredible fact of the physical, bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, and the gift of eternal life that has been freely offered to us all by the sacrifice of God’s Son.
Following the service, Mission staff and compassionate volunteers serve a delicious hot meal to all our hungry, homeless guests. And little children squeal with excitement as they are given a beautiful Easter basket filled with toys and candy!
This Easter you can help bring resurrection hope to hungry, homeless people trapped in their sins and addictions in the graveyard called Skid Row!
