Buddy Lee

Buddy Lee donated his birthday! Buddy and his wife, Betty have been financial partners and Mission volunteers since 1972. When Buddy turned 70-years of age, Korean tradition called for his children to have a special celebration. Instead, Buddy asked his four daughters to give the birthday celebration money to help feed hungry people through the Mission. Buddy, Betty, their children and grandchildren came to the Mission on his birthday, where he presented a check to Willie Jordan, saying “This check is from my daughter’s hearts.” Buddy’s birthday gift purchased two large commercial convection ovens and a 10-burner commercial range.

Ray Fico

Ray Fico retired at 65-years of age, and began his second career - - raising funds to purchase well over 1,000,000 blankets for homeless Americans. Good Samaritan Ray Fico, now well over 90-years of age, continues his partnership with the Mission.
