What is Impact Partner?
An Impact Partner is a friend who chooses to impact the
lives of hungry, homeless people in great need with their
generous, monthly contributions to Fred Jordan Mission's
ministries of evangelism and outreach.
This commitment gives the Mission the ability to better
budget the monthly expenses and bring HOPE to those who need it
most 365 days a year.
Impact Partners help share the Good News of the gospel in
the Mission's Daily Chapel services and in the streets and back
alleys of Skid Row.
Impact Partner Story
D.K. phoned the Mission office to sign up to become a
member the Impact Partner program. She listens to the Mission's
daily radio program, Take Three with Willie Jordan, and she heard
Willie tell a story about going to the streets and hugging and
praying with people in need.
After hearing that broadcast she met a homeless woman who
lives in a shed behind a church in her local neighborhood. She
said, "I feel terrible because I didn't hug he woman or pray with
her, like Willie did. So I decided to go to a local store and buy
her a sleeping bag and other things to keep warm. And from now
on, I will carry a blanket in my car, so I can stop and give it
to any needy person I see."
And then she added, "I want to become a monthly Impact
Partner to help you continue to bless the least of these with
clothing, food, and a warm place to feel safe for even a few
hours, because I know you also give them the word of the Lord. I
look forward to hearing more from Willie's radio program, as she
shares all of the great things the Mission does for people in
