THANK YOU for helping us bring a bit of the glory of Christmas to the streets of Skid Row. I am deeply grateful for your compassionate response to the needs of impoverished families and children here in the inner city.
Thanks to your help, thousands of little children received new toys of their very own! And you should have heard the gratitude from needy mothers when they received their only Christmas gifts - - fresh fruit, vegetables, rice, beans, pasta, cereals, bread, warm clothing, hygiene items and all the other “goodies” donated by generous companies, churches, schools, and individuals who share your compassion for these precious families and children.
Thousands of needy little children, women and homeless men have been blessed at several Mission outreaches this month, but none of this would be possible without the help of volunteers like you!
Thank you for joining our team of compassionate caregivers to help us serve so many needy souls here on the streets. I draw great strength from your partnership with us, as we continue to serve the hungry families and children who look to us for their "daily bread."
I pray that you will have a blessed Christmas season, knowing that you helped share God’s love, and yours, here in the inner city. These children may never know your name, but they will always remember that someone loved them this Christmas.
Your most grateful servant,
Willie L. Jordan (Mrs. Fred Jordan)
