Christmas at the Mission       

Food, toy, and blanket drives conducted by churches, corporations, and other groups help bring Christmas joy to thousands of needy families. New toys from the Mission might be the only ones a needy child receives, and Christmas dinner food bags will feed an entire family for several days.

Drive-Thru Christmas Event

On December 19th,  we will have a Drive-Thru Christmas at the Mission to serve thousands of needy kids. Each child will receive a Christmas gift while sitting in their car. With your help, we will be able to make children who drive-thru our streets feel special this Christmas.

Fred Jordan Missions Vision and Mission:

Fred Jordan Missions is called to “Declare and Demonstrate the Love of Jesus to the Poor.” 

We declare God’s love by preaching and teaching His Word through Chapel Services, Bible Studies, Special Events, Community Outreaches, Discipleship Training, Television, Radio, Social Media, and any other means available to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We demonstrate God’s love by helping meet the physical needs of men, women, and children.  We provide hot meals, food bags, snacks, cold water, bottled drinks, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, blankets, household goods, toys, and other items provided by corporations, churches, parachurches, Christian organizations, and caring individuals.

Fred Jordan Missions is ESSENTIAL. That is what the city of Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley have called us. As essential, we have increased our GIVING and FEEDING by over 400%!

Our food distribution center fills up and then empties out weekly. We are feeding on the streets of Skid Row and holding drive-through food distribution events from downtown Los Angeles to the Coachella Valley. 

Our Annual Christmas at the Mission is where we will share the message of the Christ Child, then serve a delicious holiday meal to those who come to the Mission. We will also distribute Christmas family food boxes, Christmas gifts, toys, clothing, and blankets during our mobile drive-through outreaches. The delivery might look different than anything we have done before, but we are excited to bless those in need this holiday, despite the pandemic.
