Summertime is here! With the kids almost out of school, it is time for trips to the beach, family backyard barbecues, visits to Grandma’s house, swim parties and some much needed time-off from work to just relax and decompress. It is our hope that you have the best summer ever this year!

So what do your summer plans look like?

As you make your plans, I would also like you to ask yourself this question: What does “summertime” look like for poor children and families near Skid Row or in the inner cities of Los Angeles?

The answer? Continued poverty...inescapable heat...and struggles to survive! Why?

Because Poverty Never Takes a Vacation!

Here is the good news! Fred Jordan Missions is here with our doors wide open to help meet the unending, daily needs of impoverished children, moms, and dads, in Jesus' name. God has called us to Declare and Demonstrate the Love of Jesus, and we are committed to doing that all summer long – but we need your help!
