Giving hope this Christmas!

Is it better to give than receive?

Money may not buy you love or happiness. But U.S. researchers say that blessing others or giving to charities will put a bigger smile on your face than buying things for yourself. In fact, studies have shown that the old adage “It’s better to give than to receive” is correct.

This Christmas, will you help put a smile on the face of a child, a mother, a family, or a homeless individual who depends on Fred Jordan Missions for help? If you do, I promise you will smile and be joyous in your giving.

A Christmas gift from you...

  • helps us continue sharing the hope of Jesus by declaring the message of Christmas, which heals, restores, and gives life to the helpless and lost.

  • provides for those who are unemployed, sick, hungry, homeless, or hopeless.

When you give, we want children and families to read your name on the Christmas card attached to their gift, so they will know who blessed them with it. All you need to do is click the link below to write a note and sign your name in the text box attached to your donation, so they know it is from you.

WRITE A CHRISTMAS NOTE

We also want people in need to realize that caring people like you are behind every act of us providing “bulging bundles” of toys, food boxes, and gift bags at Christmas—and meals, blankets, new bikes, warm clothes, and vital necessities all throughout the year.

Our Christmas Celebration is only days away, and you will smile knowing that your generous gift allows us to give joyously to those in need on Skid Row and throughout Los Angeles.

We love you and hope you know you are always in our prayers.
