Help Us Give Hope This Easter

What does Easter mean to the people of Skid Row who are oppressed, marginalized, and struggling with food insecurities and a lack of companionship and connection?

I believe this is the most significant celebration we have all year because our sole

focus is “Soul Focus,” as we share the hope of Jesus with hopeless souls.

Easter has the potential to be a life-changing event for many of our friends on these streets. As we come together to celebrate Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, we remember not only His death and burial but His resurrection.

This powerful message reminds us that He is alive and that there is a God in Heaven who loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins. He conquered the grave; He conquered death, and we share this message of life with everyone who sits at our table.

Easter is going to be a great celebration on our streets.

This year marks our 80th year of ministry, from 1944 to 2024, and once again, we will set up beautiful banquet tables in front of the mission. We will invite our guests to sit and dine with us, serving them a hot and delicious meal.

Our “Team Jesus” staff and volunteers will not only serve but sit, talk, and pray with our guests. We will also have live music and worship, and I will share the Resurrection message, pointing them toward Jesus.

For many, Easter could be just another day of sorrow, hopelessness, and struggle to survive. However, I firmly believe that this day will provide hundreds with the opportunity to have their circumstances and lives changed forever.

Jesus gave His life and extended His love and compassion to the “least of these.”

Will you join us in celebrating this message of hope by giving today?

No matter the size of your gift, every dollar makes a difference. If your best gift is a small amount, we lovingly appreciate it. If you can contribute $50, $100, $1,000, or more, please know your support is greatly needed.
