WHAT'S HAPPENING AT FRED JORDAN MISSIONS

In just five days, we will host a “MIRACLE EVENT” at Fred Jordan Missions, where we will provide underprivileged children with new shoes, clothes, backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, a nutritious lunch, and most of all—the hope of Jesus. Our Back to School event marks the beginning of our “Season of Caring” and symbolizes the hope and support we provide those in need.

However, the financial strain on the Mission over the past three months has been immense, pushing us to the brink of potentially canceling this event for the first time since 1989. During this challenging time, we experienced a true miracle—friends of FJM, such as Foot Locker and Paul Mitchell Schools, stepped in to ensure that Back to School remains on the calendar.

Now, I turn to you, our generous donors, to ask if you will consider giving a generous gift to support this crucial yet beautiful event.

• $25 will purchase a backpack filled with essential school supplies like paper, folders, pencils, highlighters, erasers, and crayons.
• $35 will help us supply blue jeans, shirts, and socks for boys and girls of all ages.
• $70 will enable us to provide all of the above necessities to children in need.

As we navigate through this MIRACLE EVENT, the streets around us have become increasingly desperate and dangerous. Just days ago, two men overdosed on Fentanyl on our doorstep, highlighting the urgency of the situation. Though low-income government housing provides shelter for eligible families, it often leaves them without basic necessities like food, cooking equipment, or proper means to prepare meals.

Families in need knock on our door seeking assistance, and we lovingly provide them with suitable food items for their housing conditions. We have adjusted our efforts to offer premade soups, macaroni and cheese, box dinners, canned meats, crackers, drinks, and fresh fruits and vegetables to those hungry and thirsty.

In the face of these challenges, we are determined to press forward with Jesus by our side. However, this is one of the darkest financial times we have experienced in 80 years, and your support is needed now more than ever.

I urge you to consider giving a generous gift to help us continue our vision, calling, and mission. We need:

• 500 people to give $100
• 200 people to give $500
• 50 people to give $1000
• 1,000 people to give $25
