Help Us Start 2025 Strong!

As we navigate the bustling streets of Los Angeles, the brokenness of our world is painfully evident. Mothers and children seeking refuge in tattered tents and cardboard shelters remind us of the heartbreaking realities faced by so many.

In a nation overflowing with wealth, these scenes are a stark reminder of the challenges endured by our neighbors in need.

Picture walking through downtown Los Angeles and seeing children’s toys scattered outside makeshift shelters—a quiet plea for help, a cry for compassion and recognition. In these moments, our hearts are stirred to action.

Jesus has called us to extend His love and hope to those who feel abandoned and forgotten. One of them is Lily, a precious little girl whose life has been shaped by hardship.

Lily came to the mission, hungry and afraid, as her parents lay outside unconscious in a broken-down RV, overcome by addiction.

In her eyes, we saw a reflection of countless others—souls longing for hope and a tangible expression of God’s love.

These moments remind us of our divine calling: to be vessels of God’s unyielding compassion and to “Declare and Demonstrate the Love of Jesus” to those who feel lost and forsaken.

As we lift our prayers and open our hearts, may we remember the words of Psalm 34:18,

May our actions be guided by this truth: Jesus’ love can bring comfort and healing to those in need through our hands and hearts.

As we start this New Year, please give the most generous gift possible. While it’s in your heart and mind, please give right now.

Let’s continue to be Jesus’ hands and feet on Skid Row and beyond, bringing light and hope to their darkest corners. In these moments of outreach and love, we become beacons of God’s unwavering promise that He will always be with us.

God Bless You,

JOE JORDAN
