As we come together to pray for those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, it is painfully clear that immediate help, support, and action are needed NOW. These people are our neighbors, colleagues, relatives, and families whose lives have been forever changed. Their homes have been destroyed, their communities have been disrupted, and their futures are uncertain.

For over 80 years, Fred Jordan Missions has had the privilege and responsibility to not only serve the homeless and impoverished but all Angelinos in need. We remain deeply committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus to bring healing, restoration, and hope to those enduring the most challenging times of their lives.

Today, we are preparing to take our HOPE RIG into the affected communities. With the help of partners like you, we aim to provide essential resources like clothing, shoes, family food boxes, and pallets of water. Beyond physical help, we will also offer a listening ear and personal support, walking alongside individuals and families as they embark on the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives.

As a native of Covina, I feel a personal connection to those impacted by this disaster. Like many of you, I have friends who have been displaced. My own family experienced a similar heartbreak just months before I was born when our home was destroyed by a fire and burnt to the ground—leaving my parents and five siblings homeless. This devastating reality fuels my determination to help others who are facing the same tragedy.
