Red and yellow, black and white around the world—we are all God’s children!

“Red and yellow, black and white, we are ALL precious in His sight, Jesus loves thelittle children of the world.” That line is from a song that I learned as a child.

Over the past few days, we have all watched the images of war in the Ukraine in shock and worry.

When the battle raged around the nuclear battle plant at Zaporizhzhia, the news discussion focused on phrases like, “Nuclear Global Warfare” and “This could ignite “World War Three.” These kinds of statements bring a war that is one continent away very close to where you and I live.

These discussions cause pause and concern, just like when the Covid-19 news spread like a wildfire around the world. These rumors of global war can infiltrate our minds once again with a horrible four-letter word: Fear.

My challenge for you today is to replace that four-letter word with this one: Pray!

PRAY for Ukraine and Russia.

PRAY for all world leaders.

PRAY for those suffering around the world.

PRAY for America.

PRAY for our Mission.

The task at hand for Fred Jordan Missions is simply this: To Declareand Demonstrate the Love of Jesus no matter what is happening around the world.

This is my declaration based on God’s Word and its promises: “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Red and yellow, black and white around the world—we are all God’s children! So, be encouraged today. Be strong, and do not fear.

Daily, we help the needy who come through our doors, including friends of every color and refugees from around the world. We also serve those in need from our nation and own backyard. Will you help me help others in need?

Pray! Prayer is key. We all need prayer today, more than ever.

$25 | $50 | $100 | $250 | $500| $1,000

Give! Will you give the biggest gift possible today?

We are on the front lines of Skid Row. Los Angeles houses all types of people in great need who are cold, abandoned, lost, hurting, and afraid. But we can help change their circumstance and ease the pain together—you and I can make a difference.

God bless,

Joe Jordan
